The recording was originally broadcast on August 30<sup>th<\/sup>, 2017.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_502\" style=\"width: 591px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-502\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-502 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/tondeke.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/high-school-students-at-work.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"581\" height=\"404\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tondeke.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/high-school-students-at-work.jpg 581w, https:\/\/tondeke.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/high-school-students-at-work-300x209.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-502\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Students learning from our volunteer wheelchair maintenance team<\/p><\/div>\n<p>On July 1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;2017, four high school students, who visited Laos later that summer under the program offered by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hiecc.or.jp\/index.asp\">Hokkaido International Exchange and Cooperation Center (HIECC)<\/a>, came to help clean and do maintenance work on the wheelchairs they took with them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Comments from the high school students involved<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ms. Oi (High School Grade 2)<\/p>\n<p><em>It was my first experience using tools. But I wasn\u2019t aware how it was put together. When I visited Go!Fly!, I rode on one again and realized&nbsp;<\/em><em>how difficult it was to go up even a mild slope.
