Basecamp, an organization working in Beirut, Lebanon, received masks we sent.
In August 2020, over 200 precious lives were lost, over 6000 people got injured, and nearly 300000 people lost their home by the huge explosion in Beirut.
Basecamp is an organization that provides support to the victims of the explosion.

We received a message from Cahaya, Bali, Indonesia, telling that they received handmade masks we sent. They are conducting a wheelchair maintenance course as JICA’s grassroots technical support program. International cooperation.
We are sending masks, made by goodwill citizens, to developing countries. There were more than 7000 donated masks.
We sent them to some countries and a few organizations have received the masks but are unable to distribute to the individuals, because of COVID-19.
We will post new information on our website and SNS as soon as we know the distribution.
In developing counties, there are lack of masks. Especially the socially vulnerable, for example person with disabilities has high risk to infect COVID-19. Donating handmade masks is a seed to international cooperation.
